We are seeking Games Masters to showcase their games.
We endeavour to provide a wide and far reaching games programme for our attendees to showcase what UK role players can offer. We are seeking Game Masters who are passionate about their games and scenarios whether you are experienced or not, confident or shy, running the latest favourite system or an old and familiar game. We want GMs who can not only run games for the hardened veterans of the con circuit but also complete beginners to the hobby, whether they are young children or just young at heart.
To avoid clashes and overlaps the day will be split into two slots for games that will run for either 3.5 hours or four game slots of 90 minutes with a gap in between for food, refreshments, wandering the trade hall, etc.
So we are going for two different styles of gaming slots at Con-Quest.
We will do the regular type of gaming slots with two during the day at 3 and a half hours each.
There are two traditional ‘gaming slots’ –
Slot 1 is 10:00 until 13:30.
Lunch is 13:30 until 14:30.
Slot 2 is 14:30 until 18:00.
We are also going for the shorter demonstration slots for a more rapid games.
There will be four Short Slots of 90 minutes each for quick-fire demos.
Slot A will be 10:00 till 11:30.
Slot B will be 12:00 to 13:30.
Lunch is 13:30 until 14:30.
Slot C will be 14:30 to 16:00.
Slot D is 16:30 until 18:00.
This means that we offer choices over how you play and run your games.
Two demo games in the morning followed by a longer game in the afternoon or switch it around and get a longer game in the morning with two faster games after lunch. Or you could go for four fast games or two longer games during the day. Or spend you time ducking in between the bar and the trade stalls all day.
You get the options to keep your day how you like it.
To register your games before the convention, you will need to email me at the gaming hotline address at darransimsATgooglemailDOTcom and I’ll see to it that you’re booked in with a table and advertised on the website.
Pass on to me the usual sort of details:

For those that are unsure or are not confident GMing a game for strangers we will offer support and help.
Some advice below may be helpful for novice Con GMs and experts alike:
Game Sign Up for Players
Game sign up will happen in two ways; there will be an option of signing up for a game before the event three weeks in advance, or sign up on the day at the event.
Pre-Sign up in Advance
All attendees will have the chance to sign-up for one game in advance. Pre-sign up for the players will open on Friday 26th May 2017 and all the attendees will be able to email their top three choices to darransimsATgooglemailDOTcom labelling the email ‘Game Sign-up YOUR NAME’. It will be on a ‘first come, first served’ basis with the sign up going to your first choice unless the game is full, then the second choice unless that game is full, then finally your third choice.
You will be able to choose your games from the Games Programme when it is published nearer the time.
Game Masters will be able to pick their games first as a reward for running a game at Con-Quest, and their pre-sign up will open on Friday 19th May 2017. That is also the deadline for game submissions to the Con-Quest Games Programme.
Game Sign up on the Day
All games will have either one or two sign ups held back for the sign ups on the day. Before each slot the sign-up sheets will be put out for the attendees to sign up for their other game. The actual logistics of the sign-up sheets location and timings will be published nearer to the event.
